MSS Paint the Town Color Challenge!

 Hi, there! Happy Wednesday!
I'm here today to share a card I made for the latest

You have two full weeks to play along- we can't wait to see what you make!

Here's the challenge:

Super cute colors this month!

Here's my card:

Ooooohhhhh... I had some fun with the Argyle stamps from the latest release! I don't know if you all noticed, but there is an additional strip of Argyle in the Sweet Spooks set and it's perfect for layering with the Argyle background to create a multi-colored background! And I had some fun with it and stamped the pattern in the opposite direction- gotta be a little different, don't I? Haha!

First, I stamped the Argyle background in Aqua Splash ink. Then, I inked up that little strip and started adding rows of Argyle pattern over top the background with Tea Leaves ink. Super fun- love the final product! Here are some pictures to show you exactly what I did! I hope you try this out and take some time to play around and see what you can do with your stamps!

Have I told you how much I love these little Versamagic Dew Drops- they're a fantastic chalk ink- perfect coverage! I really LOVE them! Pick some up with your next MSS order- you won't be disappointed!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my project!

  1. Oh, wow, I never thought of combining the two argyles like that...totally cool.

In other news, WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT BLOG AM I ON?!? You can't be changing your layout and your profile pic at the same time. Or maybe you didn't and I'm just not that observant. :) I do like the new clean header, though! (and your new pic!)

  2. Oh my, LOVE this Steph! The use of the argyle(s) is just too fab! I also like that it is sentimentless.....could be used for anything! So sorry I didn't get a card done for this challenge! :(
