Today I'm going to share a card I made with the Camelot Card Kit. This kit is full of super awesome stuff, but my absolute favorite thing in this kit is the stamp set from 1Canoe2! Beautiful and super versatile design- I had so much fun playing with it!

Here's a look at the kit in full- so pretty!

And here's the card I made:

I loved the look of those stamps and decided to keep it simple, yet still bold, and stamp the images with Onyx Black ink. I started by stamping the cake image. Then, I cut the banner out (using the Camelot Card Digital Stamp Brushes- tracing the image in Silhouette and cutting) and layered the sentiment over the cake. I accented the focal image with some pretty yellow floral patterned paper and some stamped black flowers.

I love how it came out!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Watercolor Stamping Tutorial

  HI!

I'm so glad you stopped by today!

I created a fun birthday card a couple of weeks ago using watercolors to stamp some peaches! I really liked how it turned out and have put together a quick step-by-step tutorial on how you can create a similar project!

I used the stamp set from the Bluegrass Farm Card Kit and the Peerless Transparent Watercolors to create this peach background. LOVE how the paint mixed together on the stamp before stamping- really gives a cool blended effect to the images! Here's a peek at how I did it:

These watercolor papers (Peerless Transparent Watercolors) are absolutely fabulous... If you haven't picked them up already- you definitely should! They're super easy and totally portable- LOVE the vibrant colors! They're my go-to watercolor paints!

Hello

Hi guys!

I'm here to share a fun card with you!

I created this card with the Studio Calico Clarabelle Card Add-on! Unfortunately, this kit is currently sold out- I hope you were able to grab one when they first released!

I LOVE the stamp set in the Clarabelle add-on- I used Color Theory Clean Slate and Versafine Onyx Black ink to create a ink splattered background on my card.

Then, I turned to the awesome Bluegrass Farm Circle Cut Files by Paige Evans! I fell in love with this cut file the moment I saw it! SO FUN!

I opened the cut file in Silhouette Studio and traced the "hello" circle shape to cut. I cut that shape out using the gray patterned paper. Then, I used the offset tool to create a border to cut. I cut that using white cardstock. Finally, I cut a section of the first cut and adhered it to the white cut! Easy peasy!

I layered some beautiful patterned paper behind the cut and some awesome burlap banner stickers!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you'll check out the Circle Cut File by Paige Evans- it's really awesome!

Studio Calico Tabasco Project Life Kit: February 14-20 Documented

  Hey!

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend!

I thought I'd stop by and share a Project Life page that I created with the Studio Calico Tabasco Project Life Kit. This kit is SOLD OUT- hopefully you got it in time and it's heading to you now! It's a beautiful kit!

I had a lot of fun documenting February 14-20 with this kit! The colors are absolutely beautiful and the kit has some amazing embellishments... cork accents, enamel dots, flair, and even some fun die cut shapes!

I used the XO stamp that comes in the kit to create my own card. I used Sunny Day, Orange County, and Blush Crush Color Theory inks and repeated stamped along the bottom of the card. I love the way it turned out- these colors coordinate perfectly with the other accents in the kit!

If you haven't tried the Color Theory ink yet- give it a try! They are really amazing inks and I'm having so much fun stamping with them lately! Great quality! You can find them HERE.

I also documented this sweet little tidbit.... I had a job interview this week and Eric left me a sweet note in the car so I'd see it on my way to the interview! The "things are looking up" card helped document this occasion perfectly!

Thank you so much for stopping by! See you again soon!
