CAS-ual Fridays 76: Kraft On

Hey!

It's time!! The new CAS-ual Fridays Stamps are now AVAILABLE in the store!
Go HERE to check em out! You don't want to miss them!

I'm here today with a fun set of notecards I created for the latest

  cfc76

This week- use kraft in your projects!

Here's my project-

FUN, right!? I pulled out the new set Truth Is to make these cute little mini cards. I stamped the large floral stamp in the middle of a square of kraft cardstock in black ink. I colored in the petals with my white gel pen! Love the way it turned out. The sentiment strip "fabulous amazing terrific awesome fantastic" makes these cards perfect to send out for many different occasions! Of course, I had to add a little pop of color in there, so I grabbed for some bright cardstock as my card bases.

Here's another look:

This will be my last post as a Girl Friday. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time on the team and have made so many great friends through this experience! I promise I won't be a stranger, though! I LOVE CAS-ual Fridays and will be playing along often! I wish Michele all the best in her new venture with CAS-ual Fridays Stamps- I'm sure her stamp line will be just as fabulous as SHE is!

Make sure you run over and check out the new challenge
and (of course!) go buy some new stamps!

See ya later! :)

CAS(E) this Sketch! #2

Good morning!
How ya doin?

I had a little free time this morning and decided to play along with the challenge over at

I'm squeezing it in at the last minute this week! Only 2 hours left! Oops! Hehe!

Here's the sketch!

Super simple and fun!

Here's the card I made based on this sketch-

I started by partially inking up the Funky Herringbone stamp with A Muse Studio Slate ink. I stamped it on the side of the card and then added accents from Dreamcatcher and Great Big Greetings. I used the sentiment, "Believe in the beauty of your dreams" from the Dreamcatcher set, too! I colored in those fun arrows with my Milled Lavendar Distress Marker.

Super clean and simple and just pretty! Love how it came out!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

FANGtastic Treat Bags!

  Good morning!

I have a fun project to share with you today!

I always like to make cute little treat bags for my boys to hand out at school and this year I pulled out this super cute stamp set- Fangtastic- to create them!

Check em out!

How cute, right!? I started by cutting this label shape with my Cameo- the shape is included in a group called 5 bracket labels with shadow. I undgrouped the shapes before cutting and deleted all but the one I wanted to use.

Then, I stamped the cute little dracula on the bottom half of the label with black ink. I masked the image and then stamped my new background stamp, Funky Herringbone, in the background in two different colors (A Muse Studio Grass and Grape). I scored down the middle of the label and topped the treat bags!

The word bubble is also a shape from Silhouette- it's actually one of the free designs that comes with the software. It's called Love You Bubble. I simply ungrouped the image and deleted the inner bubble and the words. Then, I resized it and shaped it until it was just how I liked it!

I added the sentiment to the bubble and adhered the bubble to the label with foam tape!

Here's the topper in green:

And in purple!

There is still time to scoop up these stamps for your Halloween projects! MSS ships SUPER fast!

I hope you enjoy this project! Have a great day! :)
