MSS BLOCK PARTY and CAS-ual Fridays #50!

Hi there!

I'm blogging today from sick land... ugh... I hate being sick. I'm going to try to rest as much as possible today and shake this fever, but man I feel bad!

I wanted to pop in real quick and share a card I made for the Market Street Stamps Block Party! Lucky me- this card ALSO fits the newest CAS-ual Fridays challenge perfectly!

I repeatedly stamped this sweet flower from Homegrown with black ink on Kraft cardstock. Then, I added white dot accents around each flower to make them POP! The sentiment is from the incredible Simple Salutations set! VERY versatile set- you definitely want to pick it up!

I hope you'll play along in both of these challenges! We'll be partying on the MSS blog until midnight on Sunday- and don't forget to check out the free digi in the Neighborhood!

You have all week to play along with the CAS-ual Fridays challenge! Can't wait to see what you make!

Happy Birthday, Michele!!

While I haven't been on the CAS-ual Fridays team for very long (heck! my term hasn't even started yet!), I'm VERY happy to help celebrate Michele's birthday! I am lucky to have her as part of our Market Street Stamps family and now I get to spend even more time with her on the CAS-ual Fridays team! I'm a happy girl!

I was very excited to meet this sweet lady in person at CHA in January- I think she just might be even sweeter in person than she is in blog-land! I know it's hard to believe! Haha! I really hope we can meet up again soon!

Here's a super clean and simple card I made for her birthday:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHELE!

We have A LOT of friends participating in this birthday celebration! Make sure you stop by and see all the beautiful birthday wishes from these amazing ladies!

Stephanie (you are here!)

Happy hoppin'!

Scor-Pal & Market Street Stamps!

Hi! How are ya doing today?!

I'm here today to share a card I made for a very special inspiration-filled week featuring projects made with Scor-Pal and Market Street Stamps!

I'm a HUGE fan of both companies so I was very excited to be able to participate in this fabulous collaboration!

Here's the card I made!

I started with a sheet of cream cardstock just shy of 3 3/4" by 5". I scored that sheet of cardstock randomly- just kept turning the paper around and scoring it until I ended up with a really cool plaid pattern! Then, I took Frayed Burlap, Peeled Paint, and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and gently blended them on the top of the card stock with an ink blending tool. I really love the distressed, masculine look I achieved! I matted that piece with a 3 3/4" by 5" sheet of blue cardstock.

Then, I scored a border a 1/4" border around the card front to accent the plaid panel. I stamped the tag from Make a Memory on cream cardstock and added the coffee cup and sentiment from Daily Grind! I love adding a little bit of something feminine to a very masculine card so I threw in some pretty satin ribbon to accent the sentiment!

Make sure you stop by the Scor-Pal blog and the Market Street Stamps blog to see all the amazing inspiration the designers have to share with you this week! Lots of pretty projects to see!

Thanks for stopping by!

CAS-ual Fridays CFC 48: Opposites Attract!

Hi!

While I haven't yet begun my term as a Girl Friday- I still LOVE to play along! I'm here today with a card I made for the latest "Opposites Attract" challenge!

I recently received some Lawn Fawn goodies in a prize package from Paper Crafts and was very excited to play with them! Can you believe that I didn't have ANY Lawn Fawn stamps? Crazy, I know! I got the new paper collection Bright Side and the Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set- super CUTE!

Here's what I made with them!

I used some orange sun paper and teal floral paper from the Bright Side collection for my "opposites attract" colors! I hand cut these sun beams and made the teal floral paper kind of a "grass." That sweet little gnome is just too cute- I had a lot of fun with him!

I hope you run over to the CAS-ual Fridays blog and play along this week!

Hey, there!
How's everyone doing?

These colors are PERFECT for using the newest

I broke into the kit again to make this "berry sweet" card!
