Project Life : Myrtle Beach

Did you all have a great weekend? We did! We're really trying to pack as much summer fun in as we can before school starts back up. Speaking of summer fun- I have a little something to share with you from a trip we took in the spring to Myrtle Beach!

 

Naturally, I pulled out the Studio Calico Atlantic Collection to help me make this layout fun and beautiful! I didn't have many photos from the trip (tried to stay in the moment- no big heavy camera to carry around), but I got a couple of great ones with my phone!

 

I LOVE these stars and it really pained me to use so many of them... lol! BUT, I love how it looks. So sparkly and fun!

 

I also added a few die cuts that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo- these are Atlantic Circle Digital Cut Designs and also Atlantic Sail With Me Digital Cut Designs.

 

 

What a cute little boat, right? Love it. And that Atlantic 12x12 Vellum is so pretty as the sail. Love this card.

 

 

For the journaling, I cut a sheet of paper from the Atlantic Collection (Rockport) and then printed my journaling onto the cards. I did this by creating a 3x4 template in PSE, typing in my journaling, printing the journaling on regular white paper, taping the journaling card over where the type printed, and printing again. That helps me get the perfect positioning when printing on these pieces of patterned paper.
