Here's my card:
So... I think I'm in love with the new Royal Velvet color from Papertrey Ink and I chose it to use it here... so rich and beautiful.
I took some inspiration from the beautiful Nichole Heady and stamped my flower (YOF: Carnations) in Snow White ink and outlined it with my copics. Such a beautiful technique and I'm so glad I got to try it out.
I stamped the flower off the center panel and popped it up on dimensionals.
The strip of glitter is also continued off the edge of the center panel. I think it really helped with the balance of the card!
I hope you enjoyed my card today! Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteI'm on the fence about trying Royal Velvet - I love how you paired it with Kraft to tone it a bit. Hoping to get to MIM later... thanks for the inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteI love love love Royal Velvet - was surprised when I got it at how different it was from what I thought and in a way that I just LOVED. And I love your lil' glitter strip too by the way.
ReplyDeleteOK I love your flower...looks like it is fading off the page. Cool effect!
ReplyDeleteOh my, that Royal Velvet is beautiful. the outlining of your flower is incredible, really makes it pop.

Wow, gorgeous! Love the royal velvet, kraft and white combo. And love the flower and glitter going off the royal velvet. I was happily surprised w/ the color of the royal velvet too (the online previews didn't do it justice at all, lol).
ReplyDeleteI love the overlap of the image onto the kraft cardstock. So cool!
