Friends for Life...

Hi, all! Hope you are all having a great Sunday! My little guy is taking a great nap today so I was able to play around with some challenges! I found this challenge from Skipping Stones Design through Maile Belles blog and thought it would be fun to play along!

Here is the sketch:

And here is my card:

So... I FINALLY pulled out my Larger that Life set- I have been waiting to play with it for a while and finally got around to it! I mixed it with the original Life set to make a wildflower background with black and smokey shadow ink. The frame is Fillable Frames #10 and the sentiment is from Life. I colored the rhinestones with Copics to match the Ocean Tides ribbon. To be completely honest, when I started this card I thought I had Ocean Tides Satin ribbon.... I only had twill tape... I dislike twill tape... lol! It came out OK, though.

Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Steph

  11. Gosh, I really like this card. The grey and black look so, so good with the Larger than Life set. I have debated so much about this set, but I think your card just pushed me over the edge. Great job.

  12. Beautiful!
Twill is not my favourite either, but a few colours have snuck into my house so I'm trying to use them. Can't tell in the photo though. :)
