cas-ual fridays 63: color challenge

Hello! Happy Saturday to you all!

I'm getting ready to spend the evening with some new stamps, but before I do that I would LOVE to share my card for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge!

 

This week the challenge is to use these 3 colors on your projects!

Here's my card:

I used this sketch from retro sketches (except I totally missed the deadline to link up! OOPS!)

I thought it was a super fun sketch so I went with it! Haha! For the tag, I layered a bunch of strips of paper in various widths onto white cardstock and then ran it through the cuttlebug with like that! Worked like a charm! I love how the colorful tag looks against the bright black and white card!

I am IN LOVE with these cute little bacon and egg doodles by Kim Geiser! They are just TOO cute, right!? I stamped them in this grid and colored them with my Copics. CAS-ual Fridays 62: BACK IN BLACK

Well, hello!

Sorry it's been so long! I swear I don't MEAN to be a once a week blogger! OOPS! Trust me when I say that I've got a lot going on behind the scenes- fun stuff coming VERY soon! Promise!

Tonight I have my card for the latest

CAS-ual Fridays challenge!

 

The challenge this week is to use a black card base!

We have a wonderful prize this week from Lil' Inker Designs!

Here's my card:

I cut a little circle window out of black cardstock and slipped a sheet of stamped white cardstock behind it! I LOVE that image from the Grow set (MSS) and this time I took the sentiment and added it into the fun floral scene. I drew attention to the sentiment by coloring the letters really quickly with Copics!
