Hi! Hope everyone's having an AMAZING week! Make sure you run over to the Market Street Stamps blog to see the full reveal of the new August release stamps and see if you were a winner! Lots of fun stuff over there tonight!
Also super exciting is the challenge at The Play Date Cafe this week! Market Street Stamps is sponsoring and the prize is the two new background sets Gingham and Cane! Fab challenge and super fab prize- make sure you play along this week!

Here's the challenge:

And here's the card I made:

Had SO much fun with this one! That sweet little cow and the sentiment are from the new MSS stamp set For All It's Worth! My son had so much fun stamping away with this sweet cow this morning that I just had to play with him while Austin was napping! Totally cute! I snuck a little bit of the new Gingham background on the fence, too- can't seem to NOT use the Gingham on everything... lol!

Make sure you stop by the Market Street Stamps blog tomorrow for a super fun new contest! You won't want to miss it, trust me!!

Gone Campin' with the Play Date Cafe Challenge!

Hi, everyone! Nice to see you tonight!

Last night, while staring blankly at my craft desk and wondering where to start, I decided to take a little break and cruise Facebook for a minute. So glad I did! My dear friend Julie Day had just posted that she had recieved some new Market Street Stamps goodies in the mail and was getting ready to get inky! I saw that as an opportunity for some inspiration and asked her what she got! She said she was super excited to break into her Gone Campin' set so I decided to play with my Gone Campin' set, too! Paired that with the Play Date Cafe Challenge and the Clean and Simple Sketch for this week and I had a pretty straight forward plan! Perfect for breaking through the lack of creative motivation!

Here's the Clean and Simple Stamping Sketch (#150)

And the Play Date Cafe Challenge:

And here's my card:

Oooohhh... I think I like it!

I used some Making Memories patterned paper for the background and added a little Summer Sunrise satin ribbon (all ruffled up) to accent the focal image and add a pop of color. I have to say that Summer Sunrise is one of my favorite colors, especially for a big POP against neutrals! Colored the campfire with Copics.

I think this card might make even the fanciest ladies wanna sit around a campfire! Love adding some elegance to something generally associated with getting dirty... lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend!

Play Date Cafe Get Well Card

Hi! I have some time this week (taking a 2 week break from school!) so I thought I'd play along with a few challenges! I have so much fun with color combination challenges- they take me completely out of my comfort zone and there's something so exciting about that! You never know what you're going to get!

Today, I played along with The Play Date Cafe! Here is the challenge:

And here is my card:

Love. I would have NEVER put these colors together. I didn't have a purply-blue like the color in the inspirational photo so I used enchanted evening. I stamped the large butterfly die cuts with different background stamps from PTI. The sweet blush layer was impressed with the Tin Types impression plate. So pretty! I love it! Hope you do, too!

Thanks for stopping by!

Steph

Play Date Cafe Challenge #60

Hey! I'm here today to share a quick card I whipped up for the challenge over at Play Date Cafe. Here is the picture provided for inspiration:

Ok... yellow... not my fave.... it's ok, though! I think I worked it out! To be honest, I really don't know if I worked it out, but I'll play along anyway! HAHA! My lovely sister and my husband said it hurt their eyes.... I'm hoping they just have no design sense..LOL! I happen to love it! Enough suspense, here it is:

Ok, people... it's full of things I love!

Damask Designs -- just got it -- I in love.
Mat Stack 1 Collection -- in LOVE (can't wait to get Mat Stack 2 Collection).
Vellum -- always a love.
Satin ribbon -- you know me... haha!

So, there it is- let me know... I'm a little unsure of this one. I'm in love.... others are dizzy... lol.

Steph
