SO excited to see Market Street Stamps get the Moxie Fab "Stamp of Approval" this morning! It's extra special when some of the stamp sets Cath is featuring are YOUR DESIGNS! Seriously? Pick me up off of the floor now. Just sayin'.

I thought I'd share a few projects I created with these Moxie Fab stamps! I love them so much!

Smooth Sea...

Hi there!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking forward to the weekend! We're going to get working on some spring yard work and just relax and play with the boys- very low key... just what I want!

I'm here today to share a card I made with the Market Street Stamps set Dreaming of the Sea!

Here's my card:

I am absolutely IN LOVE with that sentiment... so true, right? I paired this fun sailboat image and nautical sentiment with patterned paper from the Studio Calico Sundrifter 6x6 Paper Pad- I thought it looked a little like waves!

I colored the sails of the sailboat with Copics and adhered it with foam adhesive for dimension. Really love the classic, beautiful images in this set!

Thanks so much for stopping by- I'll be back next week with all of my Studio Calico projects for April! WOOHOO!

Have a great weekend! :)

MSS: Dreaming of the Sea!

Hey, guys!
How's it going?

I'm here today with a card that has me dreaming of summer....
I'm LOVING the new sets released by Market Street Stamps this month!

All of the new sets are available NOW- run over and check them out!

Here's my card:

Ok- let's start with the background set- Nautical Stripe. It is beyond PERFECT, people. I love it to pieces... I stamped the background on Rustic Cream cardstock with Navy A Muse Studio ink. Then, while it was still a little wet, I sprinkled some Gold Filigree Detail Embossing Powder over it. I shook off any excess and heated it. What I got was a very delicate gold accent on my background! I really like how it came out!

I knew when I saw that mermaid in the Dreaming of the Sea set that I wanted to emboss her tail and make her all sparkly! I heat embossed the tail on a separate sheet of cardstock and cut it out. Then, I stamped the mermaid on Rustic Cream cardstock, colored her body and hair with Copics, and paper pieced her tail into place!

I love how soft and pliable these stamps are! I curved the sentiment "dreaming of the Sea" to match the curve of the mermaid tail!

Have you seen the new Market Street Stamps blog?! You should definitely run over and check it out- it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

See ya soon!

Project Life 2013 Title Page and a GIVEAWAY! :)

Hi there!

I have been a VERY bad blogger and I'm so sorry! I'm here today to share my title page for our 2013 Project Life album! I'm SO excited about the Studio Calico Project Life Kit! I'm going to be using that kit each month on my pages with a mix of stuff from my stash- should be really fun!

I had my Mom take some family photos for us while they were here visiting for Christmas! I think they really show how ridiculous our family is.. lol... Gotta love that my hubby chose a light saber prop for our photo. Geez. But I truly love it- shows the real US.

I used a lot of elements from the January Project Life Kit- the beautiful 4x6 and 3x4 cards, the woodgrain labels, the 2013 badge... just so much fun!

I also added some digital stamps to our family picture- these are the Studio Calico Day by Day digital stamp brushes.

If you are interested in the Studio Calico Project Life Kits- click HERE to sign up and get on the waiting list! They're increasing quantities to meet the demand for these awesome kits! You definitely want it!

And.... as an apology for my lack of blogging.... how about a giveaway!?

Comment on this post for your chance to win TWO of my stamp sets!
Up for grabs- Growth AND Funky Herringbone!
Woot!
I'll draw a winner on Friday, January 18th!

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Still LOVING the sentiments in Growth... that font is so ME! Haha! I layered the sentiment over a shape I cut with my Cameo- 5 bracket labels with shadow. I stamped this label shape with Funky Herringbone!

The Love of Christmas

Hi-ya!

I had a little (much needed!) crafty time yesterday and whipped up a quick Christmas card!
Check it out!

LOTS of fun stuff from i {heart} papers on this one! First things first.... I think I am head over heels in love with the MME All Is Bright 6x6 Pad. Seriously IN LOVE! It has a beautiful mix of small and large patterns and lots of fun elements that you can cut out and use in different ways. See that fun doily with text in the middle? Yup- just trimmed that off of one of the sheets in the pad, inked around the edges with silver pigment ink, and adhered it to the front of my card! Love the detail it adds! All of the papers on this card are from that 6x6 pad!

The sentiment is from the set I designed for Market Street Stamps called Shine On- also available at IHP!

And how cool is that Chevron Black Washi Tape!? I swear, I might use it on everything I make until the roll runs out... lol! LOVE it!

I'm also linking this up over at CAS-ual Fridays! I miss those girls so much! The challenge this week is to create a CAS winter project using blue!

See ya later! :)
