IHP December DT Challenge

Hello!

I'm still here- I promise! Sorry I've been a bit quiet lately! I had my tonsils out on Friday and the recovery has been a little rougher than I thought it would be! I'm not feeling very well at all! Hoping to be feeling much better very soon!

I'm here today to share a recipe card I made for the latest {i heart papers} Design Team Challenge! This month, the challenge is to make a food related project! Super fun around the holidays, right?

Here's what I made:

I created this cute little recipe pocket card for my project! The patterned paper is from the MME All is Bright 6x6 paper pad- still LOVING that paper! I attached the pocket- Sn@p Pockets 3"x4" Color Vibe with Chevron Black washi tape.

Then, I simply printed the recipe on the front and back of a piece of white cardstock that can easily be slid in and out of the pocket! Super simple!

I added this fun banner stamp image (Remember This Banners by Ali Edwards) to accent the recipe card and bring it all together! I really love how it came out!

Make sure you stop by and visit the rest of the girls! They have some great projects to share with you!

And don't forget our 12 Days of Christmas Savings! Now through Christmas Eve, each day a new sale item will be posted at a steal of a price. Sale items valid until sold out or until Christmas Day, whichever comes first! (Sorry, no restocks or rainchecks!) Celebrate Childhood

Hi there!

I'm back today with another project using Studio Calico Yearbook 6x6 paper pad- available at
I LOVE thse little 6x6 pads for cards and tags, but they are really easy to use on 12x12 layouts, too! Check it out!

I simple used two sheets of the same paper and adhered them to my 12x12 cardstock right next to each other! This library card printed paper is PERFECT for this because of it's already got those vertical lines- you can't even tell that it's not a 12x12 sheet of patterned paper!

The sentiment and dots are from the Technique Tuesday set Kids are Cool by Ali Edwards! I am LOVING this stamp set- the fonts are really cool and there are a bunch of little stamps that are great for accents like this confetti look I added to my layout with the different sized dots. I stamped the sentiment and dots with Momento ink- Rich Cocoa and Ladybug!

I also added some of these fun hexagon stickers from Jillibean Soup- they're called Today Hexies. Super fun and easy way to add a date, etc. to your layouts!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! :)

Life is Good

Happy Monday!

I have a fun card to share with you today! Check it out!

Nice retro feel, right? I used a bunch of fun stuff from i {heart} papers on this one! The patterned papers are from the Studio Calico Yearbook 6x6 paper pad and the Farmhouse Paper Company Sugar Hill 6x6 pad! Love those paper pads- I've been using them a lot!

The sentiment and stars are from the Technique Tuesday Kids Are Cool by Ali Edwards set- I have a fun layout to share with you later in the week using this set again! It's very useful and that script is so fun!

And, of course, I can't stop using this Metallic Gold Stripe Washi Tape! Seriously! Using it on EVERYTHING! LOL! Looks like it's out of stock right now, but let Kate know if you like it and maybe she can get some more! It's awesome!

I'm also linking this one up over on the retrosketches challenge blog! This sketch is SO fun- thanks for the inspiration!

See ya later! Have a great Monday! :)

MSS Block Party!

Hey!

It's BLOCK PARTY time over on the Market Street Stamps blog!

I seriously LOVE this contest- it's so easy! Make anything you want with your Market Street Stamps, link it up to the MSS blog over the weekend, and have a chance to win some amazing prizes!

You could win an awesome prize package OR be chosen as our GUEST DESIGNER for January! SO fun, right!?

Here's a little mini card that I whipped up to share with you.

Oh it just makes me so happy.... hehe... all of my favorite things on this one! And not only was it fun to make, but it's a perfect card to send out right about now- I've got a lot of recipients in mind for this one! I've had a lot going on lately and haven't been able to keep in touch as much as I'd like with family and friends- I think I'll let some of them know with a few little notes like this.

Anyways- back to the card (oops!)- I started by cutting a square of cardstock and stamping it with one of my absolute favorite background stamps, Vintage Wallpaper. I stamped it with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink, rounded the corners with my Corner Chomper, and then used my blending tool to distress it with Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain Distress Inks.

I am in LOVE with satin ribbon (as you probably know) so I added a bit here to this card- love it... The sentiment is from Simple Salutations!

Thank you so much for stopping by today- make sure you head over to the Market Street Stamps blog to check out the party!
