MOXIE FAB THANKS! BLOG HOP

I am so honored to be participating in such an amazing blog hop today! You should be arriving at my blog from Kim Makortoff's blog! You can also find a full list of hop participants on the Moxie Fab World blog!

It was definitely a shock and so sad to see Cath moving on from the Moxie Fab World- she will absolutely be missed by so many...

In the wake of the news, an absolutely amazing group of crafters has come together to wish Cath luck and thank her for the continuous enthusiasm, motivation, and moxie fabulousness that helped us all take our crafting to the next level! She pushed us to step out of the box, try something new, and have fun doing it. She challenged us to follow the trends, find beauty everyday, and try our absolute best.

She was (and will always be) THE inspiration!

I wanted to share this card with Cath today- we love you, girl! You will always be an incredible source of inspiration for me and so many of us. I don't know what I'm going to do without my daily dose of moxie fab. Thank you so much for everything you've taught me over the past few years- you're awesome!

The next stop on the hop is the amazing Alyssa Scritchfield!

Happy hopping!

They're AVAILABLE NOW- run over to the shop and check em out!

Today, I'm sharing some cards that I made with the Cuppa Card Kit and the Cuppa PL Kit!

LOVE this chalkboard paper from the Cuppa Card Kit! I cut out the floral image and added it to my card with foam tape. The sentiment is super fun, too!

I absolutely adore the stamp set in the Cuppa Card Kit! I created this fun background with the stamps, added some fun black stars, and this super simple sentiment!

I fell head over heels for this beautiful letterpress card in the Cuppa Project Life Kit! I knew I wanted it to be a focal point on my card! I stamped a card base with some arrows and let the letterpress card shine!

I had so much fun with this digital cut file from the Cuppa Cozy Cut Files from Catherine Davis! That woodgrain cut design is so awesome! I added a sentiment (framed by more of that awesome chalkboard paper!) and some black stars!

Well hello, there!

I apologize again for the infrequent posting! I'm trying to soak in every moment of my student teaching experience and I've been coming home each day EXAUSTED! I know my teacher readers will understand! ;)

Anyways- a lot has gone on this week craft-wise, too- I thought I'd put together a quick post with all of the information!

First, happy belated World Card Making Day! I, unfortunately, haven't had much of a chance to play along yet, but there are some great challenges up on the Studio Calico Blog! Make sure you check them out! You have until Oct 14th to link up for your chance to win some pretty cool prizes!

I also had a post on the Studio Calico Blog this week- and it's all about getting the most out of your dies! I had a lot of fun working on this post and I'd love for you to stop by and check it out!

AND.... one more exciting announcement! I am so excited to be contributing to the November Studio Calico class: LIFTED!

A bit about the class: Need an inspiration pick me up? Enroll in LIFTED with Lisa Truesdell and explore the art of borrowing ideas by scraplifting. Lisa and her contributors will be using layouts from the Studio Calico Creative Team gallery and sharing how they bring the design, details, color scheme and theme to new projects without losing their personal style.

It comes with fabulous cut designs and printables and it's only $12, folks! Can't beat that!

Studio Calico October Kits: Atiquary

HEY!

Are you guys so excited about the Antiquary kits from Studio Calico!? They're AVAILABLE NOW- run over to the shop and check em out!

Today, I'm sharing some cards that I made with the Antiquary Card Kit and the Athens Card Add-on!

LOVE these fun leaves (Antiquary Thankful Cut Designs) that Shanna created for us this month! I kept it simple and let those fun shapes shine!

I cut out the shape using my Silhouette Cameo and also created a white background to really make them pop!

The sentiment and leaves are from the Antiquary Card Kit!

Oh my.... I'm having so much fun with these coordinating dies! On this card, I used the Harvest Moon dies to create a background for my card- focusing on the negative space the dies leave behind. I cut a bunch of leaves out of a sheet of kraft cardstock and then layered patterned paper behind each cut-out.

LOVE the fall, warm feel of this card! The glittery gold dots just topped it off!

Playing with those fun dies again! This time, I used the die cuts to make a background for my card! I simply cut out a bunch of the leaf shapes, inked around the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and my Ink Blender tool, and then glued them to a sheet of kraft cardstock.

The sentiment, ribbon, and patterned paper are all from the gorgeous Card Kit!

I had a little time to play around with the Athens Card Add-on this month, too! LOVE that there are coordinating dies to go with these beautiful stamps- the dies are called Boxwood Garden...

I stamped and cut out the leaf and flower image first, coloring them with Copics. Then, to make the sentiment really stand out, I cut the frame out of the kraft cardstock and stamped my sentiment inside.

I love the design of that sweet floral stamp, so I stamped it repeatedly on the kraft cardstock in gold ink to really let it shine!

Hey : Thataway

Hey!

How's it going? I'm winding down tonight from a very busy week! I started my student teaching last week in a fifth grade classroom and I come home PRETTY tired each day! If you're wondering where I am.... I'm either at school or in my bed! Haha!

I thought I'd pop in tonight and share a quick card with you! I made this one with some fun new stuff from the Studio Calico Thataway collection!

LOVE the colors in this collection- lots of pretty yellows, teals, and pinks! On this card I used a sheet of 12x12 paper (it's called Roundabouts) and some fun papers from the 6x6 pad, too!

I am having SO much fun with these Stitched Pockets! I simply slipped in a sheet of white cardstock with the word "HEY" spelled out with Chalkboard Stickers.

The little sentiments on the side are super cute.... I had a lot of fun with them! There's a sheet of paper in the 6x6 pad full of these fun sayings- I cut out the ones I liked and adhered them with foam tape!

Thanks so much for stopping by! See ya soon!
